Resonance Radio Orchestra: Formed in 2004, and usually directed by Ed Baxter, the Resonance Radio Orchestra is a floating pool of performers, actors, musicians and engineers, seeking to explore a post-expressionist aesthetic. Its endeavours are often seemingly contradictory in that it simultaneously addresses both the remote audience of the acousmatic transmission and the physically present audience in the real-time environment, grappling with the sense of displacement this entails. For Radio Revolten, RRO presents a new work entitled “Larry Shipping in The Abbey and Saaleaue at Planena.”
