Under the title “Radio Space is the Place” Radio Revolten will host a two-day conference on the 27th & 28th October 2016 in co-operation with the department of ‘Experimentelles Radio’ at Bauhaus University in Weimar and the department of ‘Sprechwissenschaften’ at Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg, supported by the city of Halle (Saale). Programme and speakers will be announced soon.
In correspondence with the Radio Revolten festival, three further conferences are taking place. They are hosted by the international radio art network Radia, the association of free radios in Germany BFR, and the European section of the World Association of Community Radio Broadcasters AMARC.
