Conferences

Under the title Radio Space is the Place Radio Revolten will host a two-day conference on October 27th & 28th in co-operation with the professorship of Experimentelles Radio at Bauhaus-University in Weimar and the SNF Sinergia Project Radiophonic Cultures. The two-day symposium will take place with the friendly assistance of the city of Halle (Saale) and the department of Speech Science at Martin-Luther-University of Halle-Wittenberg at the Hallesche Saal (Universitätsplatz).

In correspondence with the Radio Revolten festival, three further conferences are taking place. They are hosted by the international radio art network Radia, the association of free radios in Germany BFR, and the European section of the World Association of Community Radio Broadcasters AMARC. In discussions, workshops and talks, the #ZWCM2016 provides collective exchanges on media policy, radio practice and technology.
