Percussionist Adam Bushell started playing music in his parents’ village band aged 7. His musical curiosity and sense of adventure have led him to explore traditional folk music, contemporary classical music and experimental improvisation. His regular ensembles include folk band Duck Soup and improv ensemble Baby; and he has worked with musicians including Chris Wood, Steve Beresford, Michael Finnissy and The Copper Family. Adam has recently completed a Master’s degree on improvisation in traditional music.
