Friendly fire is a theater and performance group based in Leipzig. Their members Melanie Albrecht, Michael Wehren and Helena Wölfl realise their projects with varying teams. The group creates time-spaces, where ghosts, animals and monsters of the past, present and future walk around. Their work questions the future perspectives of the 20th and 21st century by means of facts and fiction, archive and halluzination. Friendly fire create theater productions, installations, performance lectures, guided tours, audiowalks and radioplays.
Melanie Albrecht and Michael Wehren published the exhibition catalogue VERORTUNGEN /ENTORTUNGEN: URBANE KLANGRÄUME (2015), which discusses the relation between audio art and cityscape.
