Leandro Nerefuh (a.k.a. Libidiunga Cardoso) was born in Bertioga, Brazil. Nerefuh’s artistic practice is based on formal translations of historical material, with a special interest in Latin America. He has exhibited internationally in institutions such as the 12 Havana Bienal, Cuba; Kunstenfestivaldesarts, Brussels; MAM, São Paulo; Zacheta National Gallery, Warsaw; W139, Amsterdam; 30th São Paulo Biennial; Museum Reina Sofia, Madrid; ICA, London. Nerefuh is a collaborator of Escola Capacete, and founder of PPUB, a political party active in Brazil, Paraguay, and Uruguay. He is represented by SOLO SHOWS, São Paulo.
